the farm of friends

During the time my children had off for Spring Break from school, we stopped by  to return a basket to a friend that was long overdue. What was to be a brief visit, turned into a beautiful, long afternoon under a beautiful sun. Our friends are just the kind of people that open up their home and arms to you, whoever you are! That day, they shared their baby lambs with us. Several of their ewes had given birth in the weeks past. We spent hours watching, holding, feeding these precious creatures. I am so thankful for those memories.
