This small collection of photos is a series that I began about three months ago. I began taking pictures on Sunday afternoons, mainly because it worked in my schedule, on the streets off Liberty Street in downtown Winston Salem. Usually bustling with business Monday through Friday, 9-5, or brimming with nightlife in the leftover hours, I found a very different humanscape in the cityscape on your typical Sunday afternoon.
I really wanted the images to convey a sense of a direct, mostly frontal, 1:1 ratio for these portraits.
